Holiness
The Bible declares, 'The holiness without which no one can see
God.' Peter admonishes Christians, 'Be holy as your heavenly
Father is holy.' And Moses emphasizes, 'Holiness unto the
Lord!' Holiness attracts an unusual, unique and powerful
presence of God that words cannot express and human minds cannot
comprehend.
In the Old Testament, anytime God visited His
people, he urged them to sanctify themselves, and so in our days. Being
'holy' is being set apart for God - in IPC, we are set apart for
God.
We believe that holiness is of the essence in bringing down
and fully experiencing the presence and power of God. We believe
that the level of holiness God expects of us as His children is
achievable. We preach holiness in its totality and entirety,
and admonish our membership to live it out! Holiness is
a command and not an option.
Integrity
David declares, 'My integrity and uprightness hath upheld me (Psalm
25:12).' Solomon adds, 'A man of integrity walks securely
but he who takes crooked paths will be found out (Proverbs 10:9).'
IPC
believes in leading and living a high standard of moral life, as
the Holy Spirit enables us. In all our dealings we do
it as unto the Lord.
We preach uprightness believing that this
value will take us far and bring to pass all that the Lord has
said concerning us.
Accountability
Bible admonishes us that every man's work will be passed through
fire and therefore, we at IPC believe in accountability.
As a church
we are first of all accountable to God in all our dealings. Our
pastoral board and board of trustees share an interdependence culture
of accountability and both are accountable to the Solid Rock Full
Gospel Baptist Church Conference. Business meetings held
quarterly is an accountability check of leadership to membership. At
the end of every year, there is accountability to Internal Revenue
Service (IRS) of all our operations.
Growth
Bible declares that, 'Jesus grew in stature and wisdom, and found
favor with both God and men. We at IPC believe that God
is concerned about our physical and spiritual growth. John
declares, 'That I wish above all things that you will prosper,
even as your soul prospers!'
IPC preaches balance, that is, as we
excel in spiritual things so should we in physical things - marital,
academic, finances, profession, etc.
Love
'Now love, hope and faith abide, but the greatest of all this
is LOVE!' (1 Corinthians 13:15).
In IPC, we endeavor to show true
and genuine love - agape
love - to all, both within and without our walls.
PRAYER, WORD, FELLOWSHIP & EVANGELISM is
our everyday way of life.
